Academy of Pharmacy Technicians (APT)

The Academy of Pharmacy Technicians represents pharmacy technicians employed in various practice settings.

The purpose of APT is to advance the professional life of pharmacy technicians in order to assist pharmacists in delivering the most effective health care to the community; to sponsor and encourage the development of continuing educational courses and programs for the advancement of its members; to promote and enhance the value of pharmacy technicians; and to maintain liaisons with the Georgia Pharmacy Association and other organizations sharing mutual objectives.

EDUCATION
Advancements in convenient continuing education courses to meet accredited requirements and exceed career advancements. Each GPhA APT member receives a FREE Technician by Design(TM) CE plan, with training accredited by ACPE and approved by PTCB. 

ETHICS and VALUES
Having a stronger voice in the industry to help with working conditions, network to improve overall professional ethics pertaining to legal matters, and a support system to help with improving patient care.

NETWORKING and MENTORSHIPS
Support among peer and senior leadership to aid in patient car; as well as, opportunities for career placement.
